October

October was so much fun! We had a great start to the month by having some of our best friends over for General Conference weekend. Dave, Bwee, Audrey and Jen came over and we had quite the party. The weekend was full of feasting, as well as laughing, playing with Audrey, catching up on everything, going on a long walk, and of course the boys reminiscing and playing games they used to play from their childhood!

Listening to the apostles and prophet had to be the best, but good friends and good food come in a close second.

The boys found this game they used to sneek when they would watch general conference as little boys. The game was called "Lode Runner." They were so into it. Although I have to say, Audrey was the cutest in this picture, sorry boys. Come play with us soon guys we loved having you!

Each and every week is filled with work, work and more work for both of us, so when the weekends come around we like to play, play and play some more. It has started getting pretty chilly here and we realized we don't have any warm clothes. We decided to go shopping and buy some snow gear. We now have snow coats and snow pants. We are trying to add more warm clothing to a wardrobe as it gets colder. Our California blood is still pretty thin, I wish it would thicken up BEFORE the winter comesm but I know I am going to freeze my bum off. The heat is on everyday, I know I am a wimp right now. I know I will get used to it some time soon. I did when I lived in Rexburg so I have to here, right?

For Halloween weekend Nick and I decided to do our favorite thing and go for a hike. We found this trail that leads to a waterfall. It was really pretty and the pictures do not do justice, but that could be because we are in need of a new camera and because pictures usually don't do justice.

This bridge is so cute, or shall I say the bridge is cute because of the handsome man on it!

We wanted to carve our pumpkin earlier, but we were just too busy, so we put on a "classic" movie and I started to carve away. Nick wasn't sure he wanted to participate until I was done cleaning out the pumpkin and then he knew he wanted to help so he jumped right in. He is so silly.

The finished product! Oh yeah! We love the crazy face pumpkins they are our favorite!

I was so proud of our pumpkin, I just had to give it a love. Yeah, I know, I had never hugged a pumpkin like this before either, but I liked it I have to admit.
