YUP.... We are Utahans!

We officially are Utahans. Pretty exciting. Our first weekend here was the Fourth of July. We went to the "Stadium of Fire" concert this year because Carrie Underwood was going to be there. She was breathtaking. She sounds just as good if not better live then she does on her CD's. We thought Carrie Underwood and the fireworks were awesome. The announcers were kind of cheesey and said some pretty funny things that you probably would only get away with.... in a state like Utah.

We were really close to the stage. It was fun because Carrie Underwood is a pretty small woman so when she came out we were like "where is she" and we were super close.

On the fourth of July we went and had family dinner with Grammy and Grandpa Anderson. We are so excited we get to be apart of family dinner now. Its nice being close to so much extended family that you never get to see.

This past weekend we drove up to Hyrum and spent the day with Lindsay and Andy Rice. It was so much fun. We have been wanting to go on Andy's boat for quite some time now and we got to go. He actually took us where he goes bow fishing. Well, you can only guess what happened next.....
He told Nick to grab a bow and arrow and get up there and shoot some fish. It was so much fun! I didn't fish because I was having a blast watch Andy Rice and Nicholas do it. Andy is a PRO! He is totally awesome. He caug
ht quite a few. There were very few times he missed.
Lou Lou was the co-captain of the boat. She drove it so Andy and Nick could shoot. Andy Rice says Lou loves driving the boat.
They wanted me to try driving the boat. I am not going to lie. IT WAS TRICKY. Can't you tell by the look on my face?
I just started laughing because I felt like I was 15 again learning how to drive. A little bit different without a wheel.
What a handsome husband I have. Oh man.
The captain of the boat... Mr. Andy Rice.

The boys shootin' the fish. They are pretty much the same size it is so funny!
One of the many fish Andy Rice caught.
Nick caught one! WOO HOO! The fish was hanging by its skin. That fish was definitely not feeling well.

We had such a fun day with Andy Rice and Lou Lou. We are so excited to be close to them. They are the greatest.

My sweet Nick exhausted after a long days work. He works so hard for us. (thanks hunny your the best)

Nick and I love the outdoors, and there is so much to do in this state. The first Monday Nick had off we went on a beautiful hike up to Stuart Falls in Provo Canyon.
Nick being adventurous and hiked right up to the falls.
My first attempt to get a shot of him.
It was such a hot day and being right next to these falls cooled us off a bit.

It was so different hiking here with tons of taller greens. We are used to more flat greens.
We are so excited to try different hikes and go to different beautiful places here. We are enjoying every bit of it while we are here.

Sounds like you guys are having fun! Blake and I are actually going to be in town the 31st through the 2nd. We are going for his Grandma's bday party so I don't know how much time we will have, but my sister lives in Provo so we will definitely see her. Maybe you guys could come hang out at her place with us for a bit?
