June... What a great month!

WOW! We have had the most exciting and crazy month! June that is. WOW! Where to begin.

Nicholas graduated from UCI in the middle of June! He graduated with the "Magna Cum Lade" Award. He was awarded this top award because he was in the top 3% of his graduating class! WOO HOO! What a smarty pants. He is excited he finally has his bachelors degree, but excited to move on to some exciting things.... like working! haha. For those who don't know us as well... Nicholas has been working full time and going to school full time.... CRAZY I know. His life will be a little more calm now. He really does balance his life out amazingly well. I have never seen someone so dedicated. I love that about him. Nick did not want to walk, so for me he took some pictures in front of the UCI sign.

I made sure to get an extremely embarrassing display of balloons for him! The heat kind of deflated them a bit. Look how happy he is!
Right after he graduated we packed up our cute apartment in Irvine and headed to Provo Utah. We moved into our little ADORABLE home just south of BYU. We were so excited to move here because we are ready for a different exciting adventure.
We had two days to unpack once we got here in Provo Utah. (Well, I unpacked because Nick needed to work) I unpacked and then we headed out on the first flight on Friday morning back to California with my sister Lindsay.
That night was busy with my sister Regan dancing her booty off at her dance company's show. She is quite the amazing dancer and dances about 30 hours a week on average. CRAZY! She homeschools so she can focus on her dance so much. She is extremely motivated.
On Saturday, my sister B had her bridal shower. Very fun. I cannot believe she is getting married in just a couple of weeks. It is going to be beautiful. Oh yeah... The bridal shower we super fun.
A couple days later we headed down to Arizona with both sides of our family to celebrate Nicholas and his accomplishment of graduating! We went backpacking to the Indian Reservation Havasupai. A lot of us got to go.... My Side: Dad, Mom, Mattie May and Uncle Mark
Nick's Side: Mom, Dad, Kimball, Taylor and Sue
So there was a total of 12 of us.
(This is kind of a backwards and forwards. WOOPS! It will be interesting!)
We got to take the helicopter out of Havasupai. Nick got the fron seat, but look how happy Mattie and Mark are.
The hike down to havasupai was about 11 miles. The hike is not too hard... the thing that makes it hard is the heat. We all had heat stroke about 2 miles before we got to our camp. We each had tons of water to drink while on the hike and the last couple miles we were out! YIKES. Well we were all kind of seperated, but my mom, mattie, mark, dad and I did. From the sounds of it the others got heat stroke too! (we started all together and then split up into, fastest group, medium and slow) We were in the medium speed group. As soon as we got down to the camp site we put our feet in the cold river and drank tons of water and felt much better.
This hike is hard in over 100 Degree weather.
That day was fun. The following morning we started hiking to the beautiful waterfalls.
These particular falls were GORGEOUS! The pictures definately do not do justice. It was as if we were in a dream. Here is my dad playing in the falls.
My Mama, Taylor and i just got out from swimming in this beautiful green water.
One day we hiked all day in the water. It was so fun and refreshing. Here is Nick and I at one of the many beautiful parts in this river.
The three of us had so much fun on this trip. They are my buddies!
This is Havasupai Falls. My Dad, Nick, Taylor and Kimball would climb under it and jump into the falls and under it and out. I went under the falls and felt like I could not breath. I got out as quickly as I could. (I prefer cliff jumping over this!)
Daddy, Mommy and Mattie climbing down in front of Mooney Falls.
After Cliff Jumping (you will soon see pictures) Mattie was so sad because she could not cliff jump because it was too high. Well we found this swimming area that had about a 8 foot jump that we all played on. Mattie was having a blast. She just giggled the whole time.
Nick and I just cliff jumped off of Rock Falls. it doesn't look that tall yet. Just wait.
Nick and I at bottom of where we were all jumping with Mattie.
My Dad cliff jumping off of Rock Falls. He was having so much fun. Doing the running man off of the cliff.
Nick jumping off and just having a blast.
Me jumping off. My mom said I had perfect "pencil form." Nick said watching me cliff jump was very sexy! HAHA. Nick didn't think I would do it. I am not sure why. I have told him many times I have done stuff like this all the time. I told him the trick is not to think about it and then you just jump. The thing is though.... I was falling for a long time I had time to think about if right about where this pictures was taken. I was thinking "Oh my goodness I still am falling and haven't hit the water!" Nick didn't need any tricks but we were all having a blast. My dad, Nick, Taylor and I all cliff jumped.
Dad, taylor, mattie, Mom, me, Nick and Kimball. Swimming at GORGEOUS Falls. I am not sure what they are called. They are brand new since the Flood. We are so lucky to see them!
My sexy husband!
Just getting sexier.
Here is the majority of the Falls. It was huge!
When I walked by that I could not believe I jumped off of that. It was huge. It was fun though.
Mooney Falls.
Nick and I on the beautiful water river hike.
The three of us girlies!
Mooney Falls behind us. (It was so hot it felt so good to get all our clothes wet because we dried really fast) That is why most of the pictures we don't bother to strip down to our bathing suits.
The whole group in front of Mooney Falls. (mom and dad olsen are missing. They couldn't come)Havasupaid Falls
Us on the hike down. We were at the village but still had a couple miles to go.
Our packs were awesome.
This is what it looks like while you are hiking down 11 miles. So pretty. You would never know what was coming unless someone told you of course.
We had the most amazing trip, and drove all night to provo. I just absolutely loved it.
We now are in our cute home in Provo and we are just loving life.
