Nick and I have been super busy and have not had a chance to update you on whats been going on. Well, for the 4th of July celebration (the thursday before) we went up with my family to the Hollywood Bowl. As always it was a blast and it is tradition so how could we not go. John Fogerty played this year with the LA Philharmonic. It was so LOUD! Crazy loud. I mean it has never been this loud and I have been every year since I was four years old so wow! John Fogerty is interesting. He is still rocking out and he is in his 70's I think. Yikes, or good for him?!? As always the fireworks were amazing with the LA Philharmonic. I just loved it. My mom is so patriotic and therefore us kids are as well. Nick doesn't get teared up when we sing God Bless America or the National Athem, but I do sometimes and he just laughs. It is pretty funny. Call me ridiculous but I am my mother's daughter. (can you tell in the pictures)
Nick and I posing in front of the bowl.
We had such yummy food..... just like every other year.... but we get pretty stuffed.
Keana and Rooga rocking out to "Rolling!"
Matti was rocking out with B! They were so cute.
After the most amazing night at the Hollywood Bowl. We got to go to Mom and Dad Olsen's for the weekend. Kimball and Annette came down with the kids for a week. We miss them so much. They are just too cute. I really hope I live close to them one day. Such an amazing family. And we have lots to learn before we have kids.
We were all able to go to Dad Olsen's boat for the 4th of July. We celbrated Mom Olsen's birthday all weekend long. Friday night we went to a lovely dinner at the Tuscany (Thanks Mom and Dad) and then just kept going each day. Saturday at the boat we had a fun right on the newly fixed dingey. Anway, so fun going under bridges that were so low we had to duck our head so it wouldn't hit us.
We saw the most amazing fireworks show off of the boat. It was so fun.

Dad also entertained us with his old flares and shot a couple off and some into the water. Crazy looking but so cool!
Mom and I eating dinner! Happy Birthday to Mom!
So Nick runs to the trash can to throw some things away and looks down as he is throwing stuff away and finds a baby Seal. He just kind of stared at it for a while and the seal didn't move. We all then came and took pictures of it and what not. I think it was sick because it was not scared of us and didn't move much. None of us touched it but it stayed there the entire evening. So Sad. I think maybe its mama got killed.
Nick enrolled in summer school for both terms in order to finish by next June. This is pretty much how is brain is by the end of the day. He is so good to us. Works full time and School full time. I have the greatest husband. I love him so much. Busy man!
